We offer flexible scheduling (full or part time) but applicants must be able to work some evenings until 9 p.m. and a Saturday or Sunday shift from 10 a.m to 6 p.m.

Qualified therapists must have working knowledge of Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Medical Massage, NMT, Hot Stone, Myofascial Release, Prenatal Massage, Orthopedic Massage, and Structural Assessment. Any advanced certifications are a plus.

Starting Pay for Licensed Massage Therapist: $33 to $65 per hour (depending on experience) + 100% of tips

Therapist Requirements:

Therapists must be currently licensed in North Carolina and be in good standing with the board of massage.

Must have a current Privilege License

Current liability insurance, with no claims, sanctions, or restrictions.

Schedule:

Flexible Scheduling

Shifts available 7 days a week

Some Evenings and Weekends required

Duties and responsibilities include:

Conducting client intakes

Reliable attendance as scheduled

Provide 60 or 90 minute massages by appointment

Talk with clients about their symptoms, medical history, and desired results.

Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the body.

Create a care plan and give recommendations to clients.

Listen to clients during massages and adjust your technique to meet their needs.

Use hands, fingers, forearms, or elbows to knead or manipulate muscles or other soft tissues of the body.

Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation, and how to improve their posture.

Suggest massage schedules for recurring sessions.

Document client’s condition and progress

Must be able to:

Make thoughtful decisions in a timely and confident manner.

Be willing and accepting of new processes and adapt to change.

Work effectively with little direction.

Be able to effectively deal with unforeseen problems in a professional way.

Build and maintain cooperative relationships with coworkers and help to reach group goals.

Communicate clearly and effectively.

Must have reliable transportation.
